• I’ve always fed myself with good food

   

  But found it astoundingly amusing while I was walking on the streets today with SMH’s Good Food Guide on one hand and the crappiest ever salmon maki roll on the other.

   

  Hunger took over the beast. Beast was not happy. Beast was angry.

   

  It was so bad even a perfectly marbled, over done wagyu beef slammed with aweful BBQ sauce would taste twice better than that maki..

   

  Oh no no..how could i even have said that....that would be kitchen sin No. 1.....

  It was so bad even Singz's microwaved mix of nutella and peanut butter (full bottle) with extra chunk of vanilla ice cream would taste good.

   

  *shiversss*

   

  but thank god for good shopping to clear the mind and soul.....oh Hallelujah

   

  MyNomadPartner n I was told about this must-go-market-for-vintage-die-hard-fans and bringing along heaps of cold hard cash was vital...

   

  Only opens on the 1st sat of each month, i cancelled shift that day

   

  this is what i attempted: erm..i cant do this Sat, er..ive got a religious prayer to attend to....yeah...*hopeful look*

   

  God, even a deaf would know i was lying knowing how religiously religious i am as a being....

   

  TheManager gave me the 'weird-eyed-OH' look and striked my shift off the roster

   

  *flash teethy smile*

   

  Lying is VITAL for emergencies like this.....i had no other choice...

  I wouldve spent more time at this store if i wasnt that much vertically challenged

  i could barely reach those high hung hangers...

  This dog was the size of a pony....he is EXTRA LARGE.....half my height and workin it with all the ladies...

   

   

   

   

  This dog was the size of a pre-matured chicken...he/she is EXTRA SMALL...as tall as my ankle and still workin it with all the ladies..

   

  You'd sure be seeing me here every month having multiple dates with all the happy clothing...who wants to make a date with me?

  We managed to stop by for some lunch at our favourite cafe, Kawa

   

  

   

  This place was love at first sight as far as i can remember...its the ideal blabbering / people watching spot in town...

  

   

  and every other person who walked by looked like they just came out from a photo shoot for YEN

   

  As much as i hate to admit it, the food isnt exactly avant-garde wowa potential , if it wasnt for the interior/ppl watching factor, i would never come back the 2nd time...

  Give it a try for everything but the food...its one of those places where u'd wana just sit foreva, daze into the sky and think about char siew pao.......oh, thats what i call life.....
